Under the patronage of the Central Bank of Syria, the International Chamber of Commerce Syria, in collaboration with Bank Al-Sharq S.A.S., jointly organized a specialized training titled “ICC Uniform Customs and Practice (UCP600) - Guarantees and Letters of Guarantee”, held from 25 to 28 August 2025 at the Seven Gates Hotel - Sevilla Hall. The training was delivered by expert trainer Hussam Kadi.

This training marks the Second in the “Syria Recovery” programme, launched by ICC Syria to empower the banking sector and enhance its capabilities in trade finance and banking services, especially in light of Syria’s growing re-engagement with global financial markets following the lifting of economic sanctions.

The training was attended by 40 participants from the Central Bank of Syria CBS, the Ministry of Transport, and professionals from across the leading Syrian banks.
